Patient Resources //
Founded in 2004, we have brought back the complete and dedicated patient care to Chicago physical therapy. AccessCenter provides one-on-one care with your physical therapist, never an aide. During your individual sessions, you will have plenty of time to learn and discuss how to create a program that works with your lifestyle. You will have a dedicated 45-minute session with your Physical Therapist, not an aide. Our competitors focus on 15-minute rotating intervals for Physical Therapists. This rotation can lead to a patient practicing wrong technique.
At AccessCenter, we treat the whole person. We teach you the basic knowledge of proper therapeutic exercise while addressing the underlying issues that affect long term recovery. Our therapist's goal is to teach you how to improve your quality of life.

What is a Physical Therapist //
A physical therapist is a licensed medical professional that can help improve or restore mobility you need in your daily life. If you are looking for an alternative to surgery and/or pain medication, consider a physical therapist. We apply researched and proven techniques to help people get back to pain free movement. All physical therapists are required to receive a graduate degree - either a Master of Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy - before taking national and state licensure exams that allow them to practice. Physical Therapists are trusted health care professionals with extensive clinical experience who examine and diagnose then treat issues that limit the body's mobility and performance.
Why Physical Therapy //
Physical Therapy will improve mobility, regain strength and movement after or before surgery, reduce the risk of injury, help to avoid surgery and eliminate pain without medication. No matter what area of the body - neck, foot, shoulder, back, knee - physical therapists can help improve your quality of life. Regular activities like playing golf, working at the computer, picking up around the house may seem harmless, but these every day activities can result in injury as a result of abnormal movements, weak abdominals, stress on joints and tendons. Physical therapy can give your quality of life back.
Question about your bill //
AccessCenter will submit your individual care claim to your insurance company. You will receive an Estimation of Benefits from your insurance company. AccessCenter will bill you for the remaining balance not covered by your insurance. Copays are due at the time of service.
